Participate in Miradas de Mujeres 2014

Festival Miradas de Mujeres (Through women’s eyes) is proposed again to cover the art programme throughout March with exhibitions, events and theoretical activities starred by artists, art critics, curators and researchers, to reach a greater social dissemination, giving in this way the visibility that women work deserves in the Spanish art system.
We are pleased to receive proposals from managers of art galleries, museums, art centres, exhibition rooms, foundations, universities and others who commit to meet the following requirements:

1. The programme during the month of March 2014 of a collective or individual exhibition; by one or several artists or, in its absence, a class, seminar or conference on female themes. Its proposal will be revised by the organization and accepted or rejected considering its adequacy to the objectives of the festival.

2. The inclusion of Miradas de Mujeres festival logo and of the global and regional sponsors in both press releases, brochures and the catalogues published for the dissemination of the exhibition or any other activities with which the entity participate in the Festival.

3. The payment of a participation fee, of 80 euros for art galleries and of 180 euros for museums, art centres, foundations, universities and other entities (including VAT). The festival will edit a general catalogue about all the events participating devoting one page to each, with text and photograph from which will receive three copies. We´ll also place the event on the festival website and give the widest dissemination in the media, general as well specialist and social media.

4. The application deadline for Festival Miradas de Mujeres is 31 October and the submission of photos and texts for the catalogue and the fee payment must be made before 30 November 2013.
